About Me

Hello, my name is Jennifer Chung. I am a UX Designer based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex in Texas. My passion for UX design was ignited when I piqued my interest in user research to user interfaces design from my peers. My lifelong goal is to pursue not only a career, but also a journey where my talents and skills are applied to produce solutions for everyone.

Before my journey as a UX Designer, I majored in mathematics and worked in the finance industry for 6 years. Throughout my experience in these 6 years, I learned so many valuable lessons from peers and coworkers, which solidify who I am today. An organized individual with a background in coding, business analytics, and data analytics.

In 2023, my official journey as a UX designer began through Designlab as part of the UX Academy. Designlab guided my UX adventure through the lessons related to user experience, and provided students a mentor and group-critiques, which allow students to experience feedback and critique. Through this journey, I found my interests in wireframing and user research. Drawing two-dimensional designs and then transitioning them into digital design has been an enjoyable experience that peaked my interest into the UX field. User research is another topic that gravitated my interest as I love researching topics and focus on understanding users based on their behaviors, needs and motivations.

I am eager to work with anyone or individually on any projects or goals that people would be interested to create as a product. Ultimately, reaching my goal of aiding anyone who requires any assistance through digital products and services that are used in daily lives would bring immense joy for me.
